Empowerment of Digital Culture Educators (EDC) was created as a global initiative of IBEC that seeks to get a true digital inclusion of all sectors (Government, Education and Business) of Latin American society, for which includes a set of inclusive strategies that facilitate access for low-income people to information and communication technologies (ICT).

This way, the whole society can have access to information on the Internet, and thus produce and disseminate knowledge that will enable the creation and generation of opportunities throughout the local and global ecosystem.

What is the "Empowerment of Digital Culture" - EDC program?

Currently education worldwide, must face the challenge of using technology as a teaching tool so that students develop strategies that will help to address and meet the needs of future society. Therefore, the main protagonist of the instruction and use of these ICT are certainly teachers, independent of their specialty.
